I eat content for breakfast. I love to research it,  shape it and most of all, make its delivery appealing and informative, perhaps even memorable.  I've written for print, television, online training, and the web.

My work has

  • helped Vermonters recognize child abuse and neglect (state-wide online training)
  • explored how things work, from volcanoes and soap bubbles to nonprofit organizations
  • earned a primetime Emmy Award for You Can't Grow Home Again, a television special about the importance of rainforests.
  • explained menstruation to the nation (PBS)

Regular surf haunts for my own edification (and occasional torment) range from The Atlantic and The Guardian to tomandlorenzo.  I just love to find out stuff people can use and share it.
